The CUMMINS QSK19 series is a line of high-performance diesel engines produced by Cummins. These engines are known for their durability, reliability, and efficiency, and are commonly used in a wide range of heavy-duty applications such as power generation, mining, marine propulsion, and oil and gas exploration.
The QSK19 engines are six-cylinder, in-line engines with a displacement of 18.9 liters. They feature a high-pressure common rail fuel system, a compacted graphite iron engine block, and a deep-skirt design to increase rigidity and stability. They also have a high-pressure oil pump, and high-performance pistons and connecting rods.
The QSK19 series engines are available in both low- and high-output versions, with power ratings ranging from 560 to 755 horsepower and peak torque ratings of up to 2,250 lb-ft. They can operate at very high speeds and provide high power-to-weight ratio.
The QSK19 series meet the EPA Tier 4 emissions standards, it helps the engine with High-Efficiency Aftertreatment Systems (HEAS), Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems and Cummins proprietary technology such as the Advanced Combustion Emission Reduction Technology (ACERT).
